Process

The process consisted of five interviews in total:

  • With the recruiter
  • Core Skills evaluation
  • Node.js
  • Technical Design
  • An interview with the Hiring Manager

The process was quite long. It began in October with the recruiter's initial call, continued with interviews in November, had follow-ups in December, and I finally received a formal offer in January. If I'm not mistaken, I signed in early February.

I found the interviewers' question level and the technical knowledge they demonstrated to be very good. The Core Skills interview was conducted via HackerRank, while the remaining technical interviews were more oriented towards the actual day-to-day work. It was a positive experience, though it took several months to complete.

Questions

  • HackerRank questions solved using the two-pointer technique.

  • NodeJS, event loop, microtasks, and macrotasks.

  • React exercise: The UI was already present, and a new functionality needed to be added.

  • Soft skills.
