Racism - If you join the Bangalore office, you will get nothing in terms of work quality, stock options, and base salary. All the crap will come to you, and quality will go elsewhere because you do not belong to a certain majority community of employees.
It feels like a government company where people join as interns and become engineering managers over 15 years. They have built a fort around them that you cannot enter as a new member, and they do not know anything about engineering.
No diversity in the company, especially in India. So, there are no chances for new people, as most people belong to the same place, culture, or community.
Once you join, the hikes and promotions that people are getting for their own community are way more than deserved because all managers belong to a certain place, and they are biased.
Not open to ideas. Managers are in competition with each other, and employees are suffering because of that.
A lot of restructuring is happening, due to which people are just wasting their efforts in different places and then get rotated to another team.
In a team, different community people are there. So, if a manager belongs to a certain community, then if they get X number of budget for a hike, 80% of X goes to that certain community, and 20% gets your way because you don't belong to the same community. Same story with promotions and all.
Please diversify your managers, especially in India, and also see if they are upskilling themselves.
