I was a software engineer intern at PayPal in summer 2015. This was an amazing experience, and the interns were treated very well.
Each intern was given housing free of charge, and the apartment was the nicest one I've ever lived in. Furthermore, we were put on meaningful projects and had access to mentorship and help when needed.
All the interns got to present their projects to company executives at the end of the summer. There were tons of intern events that were really fun, and even an intern summit where you get to meet interns from other PayPal locations.
The compensation was excellent, and everyone was very friendly. I miss my internship.
Everything was amazing. The only thing I don't like is the amount of bureaucracy and how logistical things sometimes take time to get done.
Stay as you are.
First Round - Phone Interview Second Round - Skype Interview by 3 people Third Round - Project Manager
I had a screening phone call that involved coding, followed by an onsite interview. Most questions at the onsite were on data structures and algorithms. There was also one question on designing why interfaces are needed for the design of the system
Consisted of 4 rounds for 3 hours. Each interviewer asked different types of questions, such as programming puzzles and writing code samples. However, the interviewers seemed uninterested in the interview.
