Great company, which is doing extremely well in the marketplace.
In some groups, the code you touch affects the livelihood of millions of people.
A great place to learn about payments and payments processing.
Some really top-notch engineers.
More than a few mediocre engineers just coasting. The codebase is kind of a mess, although many efforts are being made to fix things. The development environment, building and testing, was a real mess when I was there, although I hear that things have gotten a bit better.
Prioritize improving the development environment, reducing needless processes, and shortening the list of objectives and priorities.
I interviewed in 2021 for a SWE intern role. For my first round interview, I was given a LeetCode easy/medium problem. For my second round, I was given a LeetCode medium problem. The process was pretty straightforward and fair.
Sent me a C/C++ test by email. It was supposed to take no more than one hour. I was asked not to use an editor, the internet, or another compiler. I was to use only the online environment without the C standard libraries.
There were 4 rounds of interviews, including various coding rounds and a behavioral round at the end. HackerRank and LeetCode questions were involved. It was pretty tough, so I spent about 4 hours in interviews.
