The best internship I had by far. They work you hard, but there are so many great folks to learn from. Interns get nice perks like free housing and tons of after-work events.
They definitely go above and beyond to treat the interns well. Also, the university team were really cool folks and made sure everyone had a good time. Compensation was very good and super competitive with the rest of the valley.
The only con was that some teams seemed to expect quite a ton of work from their interns, creating very little work/life balance. There was some burnout for a few people.
There were three rounds. First round was with the manager, where he told about the team and my responsibilities. Second: HTML, CSS, JS, Angular, D3.js. Third: Restful services, Node.js, Passport.js.
I was contacted by a recruiter with the job description, and a phone interview was set up for two weeks later. The interviewer called me on time and started the interview with a coding question, stating that we could discuss more if I had any questio
Phone screen: 1:1, 30-minute phone interview covering basic Java questions. Half-day 1:1 interview: 45 minutes each with four people. The interviews were onsite at the San Jose campus. Overall rating: Average
