System Design Round with HLD and further discussions. The interviewer was a senior architect and had high expectations for the internals of the components. If I can assess the round, it was not a HLD but rather went too deep into traffic management

The interview was scheduled as a video conference, and I joined the call on time. The HR person called and said the panel was busy and asked to reschedule for the next day. However, no call came after that, and there was no response to emails either.

The usual software engineer interview process starts with one or two phone interviews, followed by on-site interviews, and finally manager interviews. The duration is about 2 to 3 weeks, depending on availability.
