The recruiter screen involved general questions about my experience. This was followed by a technical screen and discussion about the company, then a coding test. The test was super-duper easy and clearly for an entry-level position, not for a senior level. I subsequently received an email stating, "We have decided to move forward with other candidates whose qualifications are better suited for the role."
They apparently don't have an interview process to evaluate an engineer, so I'm unsure how they could determine who is more qualified. Any developer, regardless of level, would likely pass that coding test. Therefore, I don't understand how this test can be used to evaluate engineers.
