A recruiter reached out to me. I had a phone screen and four onsite rounds. The problem-solving questions were LeetCode medium/easy-medium.
The whole interview was a disaster. I've interviewed at many companies and received multiple offers, but Pinterest was awful. The people were good but unprepared.
Except for the phone screen and manager round, all interviewers lacked good communication skills. For example, upon asking clarification questions, they struggled to answer and ended up misguiding me. In the middle of my implementation, they corrected themselves, which complicated the situation. For feedback, they said I lacked problem-solving ability, which was completely opposite of my experience so far, both in the Pinterest interviews and at other FAANG/non-FAANG companies.
I will not be interviewing there again and will not waste my time in the future.
