I was told I failed system design, but my solution was flawless.
The interviewer's English wasn't perfect, and they argued with me about an edge case that didn't exist for a while. I tried to explain that my solution gracefully handled this edge case, but they kept asking how I would handle it. This discussion wasted about 15 minutes before I was interrupted by the next interview.
