It took around 3 weeks to schedule the first round of technical interview. I was asked basic fundamental questions along with details of my past projects.
I was rejected even after answering 95% of the questions correctly, which clearly suggests they were not in a mood to hire at that time. I tried reaching them via email and phone 3-4 times to get feedback, but received no reply at all. They will even intentionally disconnect your phone.
I really had passion and interest in working there as I believe in the product, but it seems their recruitment process is kind of poor and completely broken.
A note to the company: Taking interviews is an art, and it needs a lot of seriousness to evaluate a candidate. You should not be in a mood during the process, and asking the right questions is the key to everything. Founders should shift their focus a little to the recruitment process, especially the screening part.
A note to the candidates: Don't waste your time applying there. Be sure they are serious about hiring, or you will feel sad when they reject you even after you perform excellently in the interview.
Also, remember that getting rejected in an interview does not mean you are stupid or do not know anything about your job or role. It just means the company that is hiring is in a mood, or they want someone who can work for less compensation.
