Tl;dr; I fell into the trap of believing that reviews posted here might be biased and proceeded to interview with Postman. I had a pathetic experience with them, just as mentioned in all the reviews.

I had applied through an agency, and one of Postman's recruiters contacted me for scheduling the interview. Two rounds were scheduled back-to-back to check my knowledge and coding skills.

The first round was conducted by someone with one-third of my professional experience. I surmised that neither the recruiter nor the interviewer had taken the pain to go through my resume. The entire round consisted mostly of me talking rather than an interaction.

The second round was a coding round where I was asked to build a web application with four APIs within 40 minutes. They are not at all interested in your thought process but rather in your typing speed. Even if you present the correct approach but fail to build all of the APIs in 100% working condition, you are frowned upon.

I built three out of four, but still, the interviewer was not interested in my approach.

The whole interview process was very toxic, and hence I decided to withdraw from the process.

Another tip: Test your APIs on Postman itself after building them, and the interviewer will be happy.

Build a web app that would handle roles, authentication, and cross-site request forgery protection. It should also manage content usage based on roles.
