Lead Java Developer Interview Experience - Sunnyvale, California

Process

I got a call for a full-time Lead Java Developer position at Prudential. It was a weekend drive. There were five rounds of interviews, each lasting 15-20 minutes. The interview level was average. By evening, I received a call from HR stating that I was selected. She told me the package and benefits, which were awesome, so I accepted.

HR told me they would release the formal offer letter by Monday. I received an email from HR on Monday requesting all my previous and current H1B approval notices, as it was a case of H1 transfer. I sent her the documents but didn't hear anything until the following week.

After a week of follow-up, they said they could not give the offer because they believed there would be a problem with the H1B transfer. I tried to find the reason, but they did not disclose it.
