Process

I applied in-person.

The interview process is fundamentally broken and highly unprofessional, and it prioritizes scripted memorisation over actual engineering talent.

Expectations: The technical panel, who are people that take the coding round in everpure, relies on a few memorised questions. They lack the depth to evaluate architectural thinking and instead expect candidates to write the exact same code, which is what they have in their memory not in mind because they all have memorized questions and answers, and flawless answers on demand.

  • Round 1: The approach was correct, but the interviewer disrupted my focus with petty, constant interruptions over a minor loop condition, translating it into negative feedback.
  • Round 2: Solved on time. HR claimed a requirement was missed solely because the interviewer hid the full scope of the problem until the end, because he was trying to be Sherlock Holmes with me.

Do not interview at Everpure unless you are exceptionally good at memorizing specific LeetCode scripts. They do not hire talent; they hire parrots who can guess a hidden script on demand. This is an embarrassing and unacceptable standard for a senior engineering loop.
