Process
Recruiter reached out for a position. Agreed to interview. A HackerRank challenge with C++ and Java, but the position is for a JavaScript developer with few Python skills. After talking to the recruiter, I cancelled the online test and scheduled two phone screens. In the first phone screen, a new grad was interviewing me and asked to implement JS callbacks in C++. The engineer confessed that he has no idea about the JavaScript language.
