Pros: Good salaries, smart and friendly people around (at least in the Prague office).

Cons: Just my personal opinion: * At the current moment on Glassdoor, there are 18 reviews for the Prague office, but half of them were done on the 21st of March 2021. Others are close to this date. All of them are positive. Isn't it suspicious? I had such an experience in other companies when people were told by managers to register on Glassdoor and add positive comments, as it will help a company with the hiring process. I would definitely not call it the best employer in Prague. * Even though I am still on a probationary period, the priority in the project can change even during the sprint, and it can make your work redundant.

Pros: Great culture, techie company. Smart and friendly people everywhere.

Cons: Timezone issues (working with the US)

Pros: Free lunch and dinner, though it's usually some gross slop takeout. The company is located on Castro Street, so there are a bunch of lunch options.

Cons: Pure has gone IPO and now it's going to have difficulty justifying the below-industry base pay and lack of bonuses to its employees. Flash storage is a commodity market and it's a race to the bottom, so don't believe the hype around stock options. The senior management are recycled from typical storage companies like EMC, NetApp, and HP. They like to talk about radical transparency, but the reality is that Engineering is playing catch-up on basic storage features like replication. They just happen to be in a business where the competitors are more incompetent than they are. It's rapidly getting bloated (look at the burn rate) and they will have a hard time hiring talent from other, more innovative Silicon Valley companies. They also love to hire and fire, but it's usually about drinking the Kool-Aid. Being a good engineer who questions the way things are done will get you fired.
