The people are great. The engineers are talented and knowledgeable, as are the PMs.
Management is not great. Not horrible, but not great. There's been a steadily increasing amount of overhead to get literally anything done, to the point where many people are wasting a ton of time just to do simple tasks.
Opening new offices overseas has not made that any better, and in at least one Pure's acquisitions, there was an influx of toxic culture from the acquired company that has not been corrected or dissuaded.
Figure out how to grow healthily. Right now, Pure's growth is not happening in a way that seems like it will allow it to continue to attract top talent long term, as everyone is being frequently asked the question: "How much garbage can you put up with in the name of doing your job?"
