The product is great compared to competitors.
Some teams still have great culture and value merit.
Good downtown Mountain View location.
Nepotism rocks. The old team that made Pure successful has totally disappeared.
People joined Pure from competitors and made Pure the same.
People are hired based on loyalty. Some departments, like Sales, Marketing, and part of Engineering, are coming from the same company.
People have started disappearing, and unfortunately, the good ones.
Only join if you have someone looking out for you at an executive level. You are promoted based on who you know, not how you perform.
Please, please bring the company back to the Dietz time where everyone used to love the culture and were on a mission to build a world-class product. Now we are just skimming from our competitors and losing the larger battles with likes of AWS and Google Cloud.

I received an email from the recruiter to take an online assessment. It was about an hour long and asked questions about data structures. I thought I wrote well, but I received a rejection email.
