Probably the worst office in the whole software engineering industry. I just don't see how things can be any worse.
Open floor with desks set as densely as physically possible; engineering and non-engineering staff mixed together. Everybody is walking around, talking with each other or on the phone. The necessity of keeping noise and distractions down does not seem to cross anyone's mind. Yet the office attendance is mandatory. Every day is stress and loss of productivity.
This company thinks they are in the FAANG category. The interview process starts with a 1-hour OA. Then, two technical coding rounds. If these two rounds are positive, then four to five additional rounds follow. Six to seven rounds for a non-FAANG
I started with an online coding assessment, followed by a short call with a recruiter. The next step was four different interviews with current software engineers. I did not make it past this stage.
