One day, a mail came from Qualcomm along with the HackerRank test link, which was the first round. The HackerRank questions comprised 10 MCQs and 2 coding questions, which were of a little difficulty. After a week, I got a call from an HR who said that I had cleared the first round and the process would be continued in the Hyderabad office. They also asked for comfortable dates, and one most important thing is that they literally covered all expenses for your interview process. They booked up and down flights along with cabs from your home to the office and also for return.
However, the interview process was difficult for me. First Round: The interviewer gave me a paper which had one code and asked me to debug it. Topics covered included memcopy, memmove, structure padding, packing, 2D memory allocation in heap, free in heap, calloc, realloc, and some DS questions. Second Round: Completely OS-related questions, which were not directly asked. Logical answers were expected. There were also 2-3 questions on DS. Third Round: This was the simplest among the three rounds. Topics included function calls, stack, return calls, Big Indian & Little Indian, memory management in C, and bit-related questions. I almost answered all the questions, but due to my performance in the first 2 rounds, I was not selected. Those who are strong in C, Data Structures, and Operating Systems can clear the Qualcomm interview.
