Audio DSP Engineer Interview Experience - San Diego, California

Process

Referred by my friend who currently works in the company, and scheduled a phone interview with one of the staff engineers on the team shortly. After one month, they invited me for an onsite interview. I enjoyed the interview a lot since all the interviewers were nice. Again, after one month, HR told me through email that they'd like to give me an offer. I was waiting for their official offer letter for two weeks, and HR told me that all offers for the team were on hold with their VP and there was a chance that it would end up with no offer. Two weeks later, the HR told me that the position I applied for was canceled; thus, they were not able to give an official offer at this point.
