Embedded Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Diego, California

Process

I applied online, and HR reached out to me about 1.5 to 2 months later to schedule a phone interview with an engineer on the team.

The interview itself was fine, but it felt like a formality. HR never let me know about the hiring process, and the interviewer could only give me guesses based on his experience when I asked.

After waiting two weeks from the phone interview, I emailed the HR person who contacted me, asking if there were any updates. A couple of hours later, I received a response that my application would not be moving forward.
