I was referred for the DECA Conference. After applying, I was accepted into the program. The conference took place in San Diego, CA.
Aside from getting tours, talks, swag, and much more, we also had interviews on our last day there. The interviews consisted of one in-person whiteboard coding interview and another phone interview. The phone interview was unusual, as we were technically on-site. The idea behind this setup was to help us practice for both in-person and phone technical interviews.
The phone interview included a puzzle question (you have nine balls, all but one weigh differently... etc.) as well as some simple data structure and algorithm questions.
Overall, it was a great experience and a great program, and I received an offer afterwards.

Simple data structures and algorithms in language of preference.
