The role was for a Machine Learning Engineer. HR called just the evening before and asked me to come early the next morning for an interview.
Not a single question was asked from my resume or related to machine learning/data science.
There were two rounds, which took more than 2.5 hours, and the questions were only on C++.
They didn't even accept pseudocode or logic. The main focus was on C, C++ syntax, their features, and different types of memory.
When I mentioned I hadn't put C/C++ on my resume and was not proficient, the response was, "We need ML engineers who are proficient in C."
At least they should review the resume before shortlisting, considering the skills listed.
Such a waste of time and disappointment!
What is an MMU?
What is DMA?
How are variables stored in C?
