- 3.0Good salary but poor work-life balanceSenior Engineer • Current EmployeeHyderābād, Telangana, IndiaNovember 5, 2020Pros: 1. Good salary, stocks, bonus 2. One is free to innovate, and management actually promotes that.Cons: 1. Actual dev work is handled by US teams. In India, it is kind of a support role. 2. If your team is led by US counterparts, then you have to be a night owl, or else you would lose track. 3. Workload is very heavy. Every day feels like I am preparing for some examination. 4. As said above, every day you have to sync up with US folks, because of which waking up to 1 am is normal. This may extend sometimes.
