Process

Applied online.

Received contact from HR via email, who notified me that I would receive a call from the internal team within 3-5 business days.

Subsequently, I received an email from the hiring manager to schedule a 45-minute phone interview. I was also informed to have a PC available for collaborative problem-solving exercises using software.

The manager was very polite and helpful.

The first 15 minutes were dedicated to discussing my projects and experience.

Then, we moved on to coding snippets. I was asked about pointers and functions, including their underlying mechanisms (stack and heap behaviors).

Questions

I was asked 3-4 coding snippets and questions related to static, pass by reference/value, pointers, heap and stack memory allocations, function calls, and data types.

I was also asked to implement a function body for a multiplier without using any multiplication operations, with an emphasis on improving the solution's performance.

Was this helpful?
