Several days after I applied for the position, I received a phone call for an interview. They asked me several questions regarding Android SDK programming. Since I had experience developing Google's original apps, such as Phone and Dialer, those questions were easy for me.
Later, they invited me for an on-site interview. There were a total of two rounds on-site, conducted by four professional engineers.
The first round asked me to write several small programs, which were not very difficult. One was related to binary search.
The second round was mostly about discussing my project experience. For some projects I had developed before, they asked many detailed questions regarding them.
The whole process went very smoothly. Several days later, I received a phone call from HR, and they sent me the offer.
I think the reason I got the offer so smoothly might be because my previous project experience was related to dual standby for telephony at my last company.
At first, I thought there would be some difficult algorithm questions. It turned out there were only a few basic algorithm and data structure questions.
