Ghosted after a nightmare of an interview process.
My screening interview went pretty well, and I moved on to five remote interviews with various team members. None of the interviews went according to schedule. Zero.
Two interviewers didn't have their cameras on. The last scheduled interviewer, the site lead, completely whiffed, then rescheduled. Post-interview, they added "homework" in the form of a follow-up email.
I heard nothing from them until I followed up three weeks later, at which point I received an "oops" and a rejection. Yeesh.
This was all for a position that they hadn't even secured office space for yet, which I only found out after asking questions about the very generic position listing. For what it's worth, the engineers themselves seemed pretty cool, and it sounds like the interviews were thrown on them at the last second.
The interviews themselves seemed fairly standard, with some live coding, OS questions, and driver framework stuff. I didn't get any behavioral questions.
Live code a function that gets the n'th number in the Fibonacci sequence.
