Fast-moving, interesting work.
Lots of leading-edge technology in the database realm.
Great resources, training, and contracted vendor experts (dedicated support engineers).
Truly a world-class IT organization.
Really an excellent place to grow your skills.
Good salary and benefits.
Really smart people and good managers at the lower end.
Treated me very, very well for 15 years until I got laid off, and then they treated me even better in the transition out.
No complaints.
Just sad to go.
Unfortunately, as with all companies moving from the entrepreneurial phase to an older, more established phase, some bureaucracy is creeping in. Lots of night and weekend work. But then they were always very fair in terms of compensation and adjustments of work time and location.

These guys love Perl, Python, and C. Make sure you prepare for that. For textbook interviews, the interviewers have probably worked at Qualcomm all their lives, so all they know or want you to know is the stuff they work on, which is scripts in Perl
A phone interview with the hiring manager was followed by an onsite interview. I received an invitation for the onsite interview the day after the phone interview. The onsite interview was scheduled 10 days later. I was interviewed by all the team
