Lot of freedom in the workplace and I really enjoyed the summer internship. The support and facilities available are incredible.
A lot of travel to and from work. I wish Qualcomm provided better intern accommodations, because most of us were from out of town.
They were cost-cutting with their internship program, and many of the competitions and planned events were affected because of that.
OA was there containing Aptitude, Digital, and CA questions. 3 Rounds of Interview, focused on Resume and Basics: * Flip-flops, Counters, FSM * Basic Aptitude and C programming * Difference between latch and FF, Blocking and Non-Blocking Statements
The interview process was smooth, though it was for a contract position through a vendor. The interviewer asked all the basic and practical questions. The whole interview felt conversational.
I had a phone interview that lasted half an hour. I was asked about my expertise in Perl, as they were looking for someone with a strong Perl background. The interviewer then asked me about ATPG, memory designs, and the marching algorithm.
