Qualcomm is not for intelligent people. Growth is purely based on experience, not on performance. If you are a good performer, you might get 20% more stock or bonus, but there is no career growth.
No dedicated training sessions. Qualcomm conducts good webinars and trainings, but you have to make time to attend them. Because of workload, even though you are interested, you may not be able to attend the sessions.
Too many unnecessary meetings. Most of the meetings are at US time, with no conclusion.
Too many bad decisions from upper management resulted in recent layoffs.
Quality of work is very bad in Qualcomm Hyderabad. Middle management is very pushy in nature and doesn't know how to handle things; the only thing they know is to put pressure on the lower layer.
Partiality towards temp employees; for any company events, they are not invited.
Very few traveling opportunities.
Learn to handle things calmly. A woman can't make a baby in one month.
