Friendly staff, flexible hours, technically challenging work, and a fair amount of free activities (music/sports) during lunch hours. Great opportunities to get patents and learn with the internal, voluntary employee presentation scheme.
Poor middle management and work-life balance. Management over-subscribes work, and the pressure piles on lower roles. My team worked 12-hour shifts at times, commonly arriving at 8 am and still having an hour-long conference call to take at 6 pm.
Internal politics are also a joke. Expect to RSVP managers into email to get a reply.
Learn to say no to work.
I had a screening test and then one interview after that. It was pretty decent, and the interviewer was nice. I was able to grab an offer, and I accepted it.
I went through my CV, then proceeded with some technical questions. They didn't really ask any questions about my character or challenges I faced during projects, etc. It felt like putting on a performance.
The interview will primarily focus on technical questions related to camera sensors, specifically delving into the Image Signal Processor (ISP) pipeline. You should be prepared to discuss your in-depth understanding of camera sensor technologies, ISP
