Pros

Qualcomm provides perhaps the best benefits in the industry. Everything is paid for: accommodation, food, and transport, and you get a competitive stipend of Rs. 20,000.

Each intern is assigned one mentor and one manager, so you get a lot of attention.

There are team outings, quizzes, and the workplace itself is full of energy. Innovative thinking is encouraged, and the workload is well balanced. Also, it has a really high conversion ratio from intern to full-time employee.

Cons

The sex ratio is disappointingly skewed. Out of 39 interns in Bangalore in summer 2012, only 2 were girls. But then, the number of girls doing engineering is really less.
