Qualcomm CDMA is a market and technology leader. It provides a whole system-level solution to the customer. It is a good place to learn cell phone system knowledge. Knowledge sharing between groups is encouraged.
As a large company, sometimes you feel the career ladder is really long. Promotion is based on performance, but sometimes quick promotion is restricted by corporate policy. The compensation package is not very competitive in the industry.
Shrink the chipset quantities and put strong support to expedite the key projects.
Snapdragon platform is a good idea, but the vendor support is too slow.
