Some projects and groups are good, but most of the work is integration work.
Open and diverse work culture.
Long hours are expected. Unfortunately, "firefighting" has become the norm, and people are rewarded for quick fixes rather than asking why we keep fighting fires. "Visibility" via emails and messengers is rewarded more than the real engineers who did the work. There is a lack of overall direction right now. Poor documentation and software practices (s/w is secondary and is treated as such). Lateral moves are pretty difficult despite what mgmt. says. Not great for CS majors, but good for EE.
