Good salary, benefits, HR policies, flexible timings, working from home. Good for ladies. Very good projects, innovation. You will be encouraged to do patents.
Need to support on weekends throughout the year.
Surprisingly, sometimes a few managers will ask you to stay on weekends and ask you to brush, take bath, and sleep in the office. They say breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
Though a facility is there to order food if you stay late, a few managers don't like to approve your order.
Again, a surprising thing is, a few managers who have late-night meetings will go out to eat and come back to work. So, eventually, in that team, you will finally stop ordering food even if you stay late because of work.
No manager asks you to stay late in the office, and at the same time, you have to meet your deadline. If you miss your deadline a couple of times, that's it. You can search for a job outside; no need to talk to them.
A few managers expect you to be Superman. I mean, even if you are new to that domain/project/team, from day 1, they will expect expert results from you, even in design/architecture.
They overcommit dates to customers and force employees to meet the deadline.
They don't increase headcount and don't give you time to learn and do the things.
In a skip-level meeting, if you say anything, that's it, you are done. Hope you may be scolded or you will have a discussion with your manager to understand that your understanding is wrong.
If you want to move to another team, it's your dream will never come true. If you are so lucky, you will get moved so easily.
Few managers are really good. The team under him/her is lucky.
There are lots of improvements in some managers, not for all.
Planning has to be done properly based on resource count and availability.
Some managers just copy their bosses. Please try to avoid "buttering up" your boss.
The first round was an online test that included all the basics of electronics. Selected people then had two technical interviews where they asked questions from the academic part. They tested whether we had good in-depth knowledge about the basics.
I sent my resume to an employee of Qualcomm. They looked at it and called me for an interview. The interview took about an hour with four panel members. It was mostly about my project and digital electronics.
The interview process was conducted online and scheduled according to my requested timing and date. Overall, the difficulty level was easy to medium. Two to three rounds of interviews were scheduled.
