Pros

Great place for:

  • Embedded skills
  • C/C++
  • Love of chips, microprocessors
  • DSP

Organizations offer good monetary benefits. Only join if you are in a 15-hour work mode per day.

Cons
  • Short-sighted managers who are totally looking for small work.
  • Hiring for the wrong skill-work mapping.
  • Then employees have to change their entire profile to stay for the long term.
  • Too tight timelines.
  • No upskilling encouraged.
Advice to Management
  • Assess hiring by fitting recruits into the organization holistically, not just for the immediate work.
  • Give career paths for new hires.
  • Respect individual aspirations over organizational culture.
