Recruiter reached out for the SDET-II Developer-Platform Ecosystems position.
Scheduled an overview call with HR for screening. She went over the position, TC, and benefits, in addition to asking questions about why I'd like to work there and my background. Then, she went over the process, which is one tech screen and then a multi-hour panel.
Tech screen was set up and hosted by someone at the HQ location versus the one I was applying for – which is very different culturally (traditional, "basic", Christian).
Went over background and asked one STAR-based question. It took 15 minutes.
Then was asked a HackerRank-type question for the max palindrome in a string. I solved it within the time, but not with all test cases passing.
I'm guessing, based on being totally ghosted with no feedback, that if you don't clear that bar with a solid 100% TC passing, you won't get considered.
