Got the email for the online technical interview.

Interview was scheduled two weeks out.

Met with two interviewers and wrote my code in the HackerRank interface. The code was not tested.

Apparently, there was some equation for the number of friend requests. I don't know how they came up with this number, and it was not obvious from the question (ended up being the ceiling function (n-1)/2 or something like that).

I felt like my code was decent, even though I had to ask about friend distribution. I was a bit surprised to get the rejection email. I did notice they looked at my LinkedIn profile right before sending the rejection email.

Perhaps there were errors with my code that I did not notice.

Provide an algorithm that provides friend suggestions to a list of friends in a social network. The friend suggestions should be "fair," i.e., evenly distributed.
