I was interviewed at Rakuten, Bangalore, India. There were 5 rounds in total: 3 technical, one discussion with a Japanese Manager, and finally an HR interview with the Hiring Manager. Everyone who took the initial 4 rounds was good, knowledgeable, and respectful. The Hiring Manager and HR of the company, however, were on an ego trip. The sad part for me was that the last interview with the Hiring Manager was disappointing. Rakuten Bangalore should hire professional HRs for their team. Otherwise, the whole team of Rakuten, India, will suffer.
What are your plans for five years down the line?
