Process

The company’s official language is English.

They told me the interview would be in Japanese, and I told them to withdraw me from the process as I currently speak only very basic Japanese.

They responded to say the interview would be conducted in English.

The interview was conducted in Japanese.

The three interviewers asked me a series of technical and behavioral questions.

In response, I told them my dog’s name, my favorite flavor of ice cream, and asked directions to the swimming pool.

I worry someone’s time may have been wasted there…
