I was on a first-step interview, a Codility test. I don't know if I fulfilled Rakuten's competence requirements or not because I just solved the test with time complexity O(n), but the task wanted me to solve it with O(log n) time complexity. Right now, I am waiting for the result to see if I was accepted to the next step or not.
I think O(n) is better than brute-force complexity.
Hopefully, I can hear good news from Rakuten this week.
Solve the Codility task with the best performance.
