My interview process began with a screen from a recruiter.
Next, I advanced to a technical screen with an engineer, which was not a LeetCode-style problem.
Following that, I had an on-site interview consisting of two technical interviews, one systems design interview, and one behavioral interview with a hiring manager.
While I did not receive an offer, the recruiter kindly provided feedback.
The overall experience was positive, with one exception.
During one of the on-site technical screens, it was evident that the interviewer was not paying attention. He remained silent throughout the entire interview, offering only a brief "yup" when I prompted him for a response. Each time I glanced at the Zoom window, he was clearly looking at another screen.
I understand that people can be busy, but if Ramp is willing to treat interviewees with such disregard, it does not reflect well on the company.
Apart from that incident, the other interviewers were pleasant, particularly the hiring manager.
Signed an NDA so I can't say, but no LeetCode.
