The interview process involved a recruiter call, a take-home puzzle challenge, and then a series of interviews over Zoom. Mine was frontend-focused.
The recruiter was very nice and seemed invested in my success. It was a standard call where I shared about myself and learned about the company.
The puzzle challenge was unique and mainly used to filter out candidates who weren't serious.
The engineer I had the one-on-one coding interview with was also very nice. However, the unique aspect of the interview was that it was delivered as a block of text to my Gmail. The problem referenced Google Calendar in a unique way, requiring me to navigate Gmail and Google Calendar while being observed on Zoom.
If you are undertaking the React challenge, be prepared for this. Perhaps consider pausing screen casting for a bit.
