A multi-step code challenge was required to submit an application. I received a generic "Your experience is impressive, but we're moving forward with other applicants" rejection within one business day, with no indication that anything beyond my CV was reviewed. It is disrespectful of applicants' time to expect people to invest time in a code challenge before even screening their resumes.
