After that, I had my first-round technical interview with an engineer.

Everyone involved in the process was kind and patient.

The behavioral part was pretty typical, with questions about my experience and what I knew about the company.

I was using HTTP requests to scrape a website. I had to use regex and some data structures along the way.

I finished the problem and thought it went well, but I was rejected a couple of days later.
