I finished the question with time to spare but was rejected nonetheless. I could tell that the interviewer, who's a staff engineer, has a huge ego and is massively insecure. That's the type of people in this company.

Initial phone screen with recruiter. Overview of my experience and questions about the role. Went over some details of my familiarity with various technologies. The recruiter did not seem very familiar with web development.
