What a waste of time and a confused recruiting team. I received a call from HR for a backend role. I completed the telephonic round, and they invited me for a F2F round. The hiring team asked me why I wanted to apply for a Data Engineer role. I explained that I was there for the backend role. They didn't know which role I was interviewing for.

After wasting so much time, they started the interview and, at the end, said I should come tomorrow as well, so today's round was nullified. They said they would take a fresh interview tomorrow for backend, in which they were not looking interested.

Finally, on day 2, I had to wait long. One interview happened. The interviewer was not looking interested, and they said they would get back. Finally, they rejected me without any reason or interview feedback.

Seriously the worst interview experience in my life. Please improve your hiring process so no one else will suffer the same thing.
