After seeing tremendous negative reviews for Razorpay, I doubted applying to this organization. Then, I made up my mind to see it all for myself.
The interview process consisted of 3 rounds:
The process was simple, and the questions posed in each level were easy and easily solvable.
The feedback I received from HR after the last round was shocking to me. He said, "Based on our discussions, we are clearly impressed by the expertise and experience you have to offer; however, we regret to inform you that for the current position discussed, we will not be able to proceed with your candidature owing to the specificity of the position."
I am still shocked, as my discussion with the hiring manager was the best compared to any other round. This is the level of professionalism that Razorpay follows. I was shocked.
Candidates going upfront for interviews are just wasting their time. The evaluation process of Razorpay is the worst. No matter how well you perform, they would prefer Tier 1 only.
In the end, I now understand why there are so many negative interview experiences for Razorpay.
