Process

Please don't waste your time by giving an interview for this company. The HR is a really nice person.

Please send someone experienced to take the interview, who could understand the candidate and has less attitude.

Three rounds:

  • First round: They will test your technical skills and ask you to write code on the fly.
  • Second round: Technical discussion about testing, current work, MySQL, and some test scenarios.
  • Third round: Discussion with the hiring lead.

Questions

The interviewer was okay but looked a little less experienced. He wasn't able to understand my solution. When he showed up, he was not sure what to ask. This happens when someone has worked on only one type of project and hasn't explored other technologies and tools. He asked very trivial questions.

Question: Hit Git API's and count the number of opened pull requests in the last one day, the number of pull requests submitted 7 days ago, and within 7 days ago.
