There was a good tech stack and a good team.
There was bad management, bad pay, an overworked team, no clear direction, no leadership in the data organisation, unreal timelines, bad work in general, and no time for upskilling. There was no job security, with talks of layoffs coming in October. There was a bad appraisal and compensation for the work hours. Overall, it was a very bad place to be in.
The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes, and it lasted for like 7 minutes. The interviewer asked me like 3 questions, and he was done. That was quite a disappointing experience, as I spent time and prepared for it.
Two technical rounds along with one managerial round. The difficulty level was average. First round on JS fundamentals. Second on PHP and Shopify app development. As I am a frontend developer and did not know PHP, I could not clear the second round.
The first round was a DSA round (the question was from LeetCode), followed by the HM round in which he asked about core subjects and project-related questions. The interview level was average.
